TRENDS, NETWORKS & CRITICAL THINKING IN THE 21ST CENTURY
When I saw Trends, Networks and Critical Thinking Skills in the 21st Century, I didn’t know what to make off it. It made me constantly wonder what it was about. During the first day of lesson, I thought that it was a cool subject since it mostly analyzes the different aspects of society that has blended into our everyday lives that we have forgotten what it really was and how it started. It was a bit difficult to fully grasp this subject because its not only memorization of terms and timelines and the different trends, but it emphasizes the keen outlook in life that would enable you to fully criticize and see the world objectively. Critical thinking, being the way it is, cannot easily be taught within the four corners of the classroom, but as it is, you need to be able to think creatively and beyond the box.
